Awarded the “Hong Kong Green Organisation Certification”
United Asia Finance (“UA”) was honorably awarded the “Hong Kong Green Organisation Certification (HKGOC) – Wastewi$e Certificate (Basic Level)” this year, in recognition of our active participation in adopting various environmental practices and promoting a green workplace. For example, we have placed recycle bins in office for recycling materials like paper, metal, plastic bottles, batteries, ink cartridges, etc. Meanwhile, we actively promote the concept of waste reduction like using less paper and fewer plastic trash bags.
HKGOC is led by the Environmental Campaign Committee alongside the Environmental Protection Department, in conjunction with nine organisations and sponsored by the Environment and Conservation Fund. The program aims to set benchmark for companies in their green management, encourage environmental practices in workplace and recognize their commitment in environmental-friendly works.
