Risk Management Department
Associate Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management (Assistant Manager Level)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an effective implementation of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process
  • Develop and maintain Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, including Risk Appetite Statement (“RAS”), Key Risk Indicator, Risk Map
  • Maintain the risk appetite framework, which includes setting and regularly reviewing relevant risk tolerance and risk limits across risk types
  • Maintain risk appetite profile for monitoring the actual performance of RAS metrics, and produce quarterly reporting
  • Develop control testing exercise to validate the control effectiveness compliance with internal policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Maintain operational risk event database for tracking of escalated incidents, and produce timely reporting to Management for critical incidents
  • Implement business continuity plan which ensure continuity of critical functions/services, and administer a comprehensive testing and maintenance program

 

Job Requirements:

  • University degree, with major in auditing, accounting, risk management or risk related discipline, qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of financial industry
  • 3 to 5 years of financial institution or big 4 audit experience
  • Strong attentiveness to detail, compliance and control orientation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure
  • Sound knowledge of application software such as MS Excel, presentation slides preparation
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Strong verbal and written English language skill are essential
